I used Pool Stain Treat and have streaks in my pool.
When adding Pool Stain Treat straight into the pool, often staining will be removed primarily where granules make contact with the surface. This can leave clean streaks across the surface. Also, sometimes the extent of staining across the surfaces is not made apparent until a darker stain is removed.
This is relatively easy to fix: simply repeat a treatment with Pool Stain Treat dissolved first in a bucket of water. Then pour as evenly as possible around the pool. While the results won't be quite as immediate and dramatic, the stains will be removed slowly across the entire surface of the pool. This will blend any streaks away and give a uniform appearance.
