Is Swamp Treat safe for Diamond Brite/Pebble Tec/Quartz/Exposed Aggregate pools?
Absolutely. Swamp Treat is safe for all those types of pools. As with any chemical, we recommend dissolving granules in a bucket of water prior to pouring it into your pool.

How much shock should I use with Swamp Treat?
This varies depending on the type of chlorine. In general, we'd recommend 4 pounds or gallons of chlorine shock for 20,000 gallon pool.
Does Swamp Treat contain phosphates?
Yes it contains a little. Part of why Swamp Treat works so well is that it contains phosphate. In general, we recommend you don't worry about phosphate levels.
With Swamp Treat do I leave the pump running?
You sure do! While Swamp Treat kills the algae the filter traps it. Just make sure to backwash as necessary based on your filter pressure.
Will Swamp Treat leave stains?
Nope. Swamp Treat doesn't contain copper, silver or any ingredients that stain.
Will Swamp Treat leave a chlorine reading?
Yes! Swamp Treat stabilizes your chlorine reading.
What's in Swamp Treat?
That's a secret! But I can tell you that Swamp Treat's formula is based on Sodium Bromide.
Is Swamp Treat okay to use with salt water pools?
Absolutely. Swamp Treat is compatible salt water pools. You will still need to add granular or liquid shock.
Is Swamp Treat okay to use with ozone?

Is Swamp Treat okay to use with ionizers?
Absolutely. Swamp Treat is compatible ionizers.
Is Swamp Treat okay to use with copper algaecide?
Absolutely. Swamp Treat is compatible copper algaecide. However, you probably don't need to use both. Swamp Treat is more than capable working alone.
Is Swamp Treat okay to use with baquacil or biguanide?
Absolutely. Swamp Treat is compatible baquacil or biguanide. Just substitute chlorine shock for biquanide shock.
How often should I add Swamp Treat to my pool?
You should only use Swamp Treat when you have algae. To prevent algae we recommend using No Mor Problems.
How much Swamp Treat do I use?

How long does Swamp Treat take to work?
Swamp Treat will react to chlorine immediately. You should begin to see results with a few hours.
How long after using Swamp Treat should I wait to go swimming?
After using Swamp Treat wait an hour or until the chlorine reading drops below 5ppm.
Does Swamp Treat affect chlorine readings?
