How to Use No Mor Problems® Preventative Algaecide | United Chemical

No Mor Problems®

Objective

Learn how to drastically reduce your maintenance labor and chemical demand by adding No Mor Problems to your weekly routine. This product guarantees a crystal-clear pool with half the brushing.

The Power of pH-Independent Protection

Standard chlorine stops working effectively when your pool's pH rises above 7.8. If a storm blows in mid-week and spikes the pH, your pool is left vulnerable to green, black, and mustard algae. No Mor Problems solves this. It converts a small amount of standard chlorine into a powerful bromide killing agent that works flawlessly at any pH level. Think of it as liquid insurance that polishes your water and stops algae before it ever starts. Best of all, it's non-foaming, so it's perfectly safe for attached spas and fountains.

Prerequisites

  • Water should be balanced and currently clear of major algae blooms (for active blooms, see our guide on Swamp Treat).

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Calculate Dosage: Determine your pool's volume to calculate the correct maintenance dose (typically just a few ounces per week).

  2. Apply Weekly: While the pump is running, pour the measured dose of No Mor Problems directly into the skimmer or walk it around the perimeter of the pool.

  3. Add Standard Sanitizer: Continue with your normal chlorine maintenance. The product will work synergistically with your chlorine to prevent algae.

  4. Enjoy the View: Let the system run. You will immediately notice a reduction in the need to scrub walls.

Troubleshooting Note: Customers occasionally worry about switching their pool to a "bromine pool." Reassure them that we are not switching the sanitizer system. We are simply adding a maintenance level of bromide to handle algae specifically, leaving the chlorine free to handle standard sanitation.
