Submit Your Initial Stocking Order (ISO)

How to Submit Your Initial Stocking Order (ISO)

Objective

Learn how to successfully complete and submit your Initial Stocking Order (ISO) or a standard bulk purchase to activate and utilize your direct purchasing discounts.

Why an ISO Matters

Once you have been approved for a direct account, particularly if you have signed a Growth Partnership Agreement, placing your Initial Stocking Order (ISO) is the final step to officially activating your new Business or Partner tier pricing.

We require these initial stocking orders to ensure you have enough on-hand inventory to confidently support your local customer base right from the start. By ordering in bulk case quantities, you also maximize your freight efficiency and lock in your highest possible margin. Don't worry if you haven't placed a freight order of this size before; our customized order forms are designed to make the process completely transparent and straightforward.

Prerequisites

  • An approved United Chemical direct purchasing account.

  • A signed Growth Partnership Agreement (if you are qualifying for Business or Partner tiers without providing prior buying history).

  • Your tier's specific customized order form (provided in your welcome email).

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open your welcome email from United Chemical and click the link to download your specific Order Form.

  2. Review your required Initial Stocking Order minimums based on your newly approved tier:

    • Business Tier: Minimum ISO of $7,500.

    • Partner Tier: Minimum ISO of $15,000.

  1. Open the Order Form on your computer and input the desired case quantities for each product. Note: Direct purchases are strictly fulfilled in case quantities.

  2. Verify that the total order value meets or exceeds your required ISO minimum.

  3. Click File, then Save As to save the completed document to your computer.

  4. Attach the saved Order Form to a new email and send it to orders@unitedchemical.com with your Sales Representative CC'd.

  5. Look out for a sales order confirmation email from our order processing department.

Notes & Troubleshooting

  • Free Freight Minimums: Keep in mind that after your ISO is complete, your standard re-orders will need to meet your tier's free freight minimums ($1,000 for Pro, $2,000 for Business, and $4,000 for Partner) to avoid shipping charges.

  • Delivery Logistics: Because these are bulk freight deliveries, please ensure your retail location or warehouse has the capability to receive and store palletized shipments.

  • Missing Order Form: If you cannot locate your customized order form, please reach out to our support team or your direct Sales Representative to request a new copy.
