The Power of an All-Natural Magnet
Standard pool filters often struggle to catch microscopic debris like dust, pollen, and oils, leaving your water looking dull, milky, or hazy. Clear Treat™ is a premium, all-natural (chitosan-based) clarifier that acts like a powerful, environmentally safe magnet in your water. It aggressively binds these tiny suspended particles together into larger clumps that your filter can easily trap and remove.
Because it is 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly, it works seamlessly with all types of sanitizers. Most importantly, while traditional synthetic clarifiers can actually cause cloudiness if you accidentally add too much, Clear Treat™ is incredibly forgiving—it is impossible to overdose your pool with this product!
Prerequisites
Crucial Safety Rule: Do not add this product directly to an oxidizer (such as chlorine, bromine, non-chlorine shock, hydrogen peroxide, etc.). Add it directly to the pool/spa or a clean bucket of water.
Ensure your pool filter is clean and ready to capture the bound particles.
Note: No pre-mixing is required for this product!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Treating Active Cloudy Water
Activate Circulation: Turn your pump switch to the ON position so the water is actively moving.
Assess the Cloudiness: Determine the severity of your water clarity to calculate the correct dose.
For Mild Cloudiness: Immediately add three (3) ounces of Clear Treat™ per 10,000 gallons of water.
For Severe Cloudiness: You may safely double or triple the dose (6 to 9 ounces per 10,000 gallons) to accelerate the clearing process. Remember, you cannot overdose!
Apply the Product: Pour the liquid directly into the pool or spa water around the perimeter.
Let the Filter Work: Keep the pump running continuously so your filter can catch the coagulated debris.
Weekly Maintenance (Keeping it Clear)
Add to Routine: To keep your water sparkling clear and prevent future dullness, simply add two (2) ounces of Clear Treat™ per 10,000 gallons of water once a week.
Troubleshooting Note: Because Clear Treat™ makes your filter highly effective at catching micro-debris, keep an eye on your filter pressure gauge. You will likely need to clean or backwash your filter a few days after treating a severely cloudy pool as it fills up with the trapped particles.
