The effects of adding calcium to a Swimming
Using calcium chloride flakes - when I add it to a swimming pool my chlorine level goes to 0 And I find that it’s very hard to get my chlorine level back up, usually I have to shock the pool or even put more than a shock treatment, not sure why this is happening. I take care of 10 commercial condominium pools and I added calcium two 4 Pools and all 4 Pools within two hours the chlorine levels dropped to zero??

Heavy scaling
i have a 20,000 gallon pool. 15x30 and 4-10 deep. The pool was abondoned for quite some time and there is a lot of scaling or calcium buildup. It’s everywhere in the pool and is sharp enough to cause scratches whenever my kids brush up agains the side and stairs to quickly. I tried a blue pumice stone and it last for about 10 brushes back and forth until there was only 1/4 left. I did a little research and I think I need No Dran acid wash. I have never owned a pool. White water mold in pool
Does anyone know how to get rid of white water mold in a pool? We use Baquacil, so any products we use must be compatable with Baquacil. We have a 15,000 gallon above ground pool with a cartridge filter.
